Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Last year I walked the Kirkcudbright Half Marathon in memory of my friend and colleague Frances Gough, who tragically died on 31st December 2013 after suffering from a brain haemorrhage. This year I have decided to take part in the event again but this time I will be running it rather than walking.
For over a decade, scientists at The University of Edinburgh have been doing research to better understand the causes and consequences of bleeding in the brain, known as brain haemorrhage. Further funding would enable the research tem to take a giant step towards achieving their goal. Therefore, I have chosen to fundraise for the RUSH programme and any donations will be greatly appreciated.
