The cause: I am raising money for MND as someone really close to me, my grandma has been diagnosed with MND. Motor neurone disease (MND) is an uncommon condition that affects the brain and nerves. The challenge: On the 8th of April 2023 I will be attempting to complete the 3 National Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Mount Snowdon) in under 24 hours. The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, often within 24 hours.The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft).
