10 years ago (26th September 2006) mine and my families life was changed forever when my dad passed away. So I decided I would undertake a challenge (the Yorkshire three peaks) in his memory.  The challenge is 24 miles and ideally completed within 12 hours. 

My brother and sister were incredibly young when he was taken away from us however we weren't aware of the various support charities available. That is why I have chosen to raise money and awareness for Winstons Wish (a charity specialising in supporting children after a family bereavement) with the aim of helping one child/family through the bereavement and making the grieving process that little bit easier for them.

I am aiming to raise £500 (the target will fund the manning of the phonelines for a day).
