Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit  our JustGiving page.

We are a walking group comprising of members of the Development and Regeneration Team at Doncaster Council.  We are gearing up for the "Yorkshire Three Peaks" challenge in September to raise money for Theo’s Burn Club at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, in memory of Sophie Firth.

Around 37 members of staff (including their families and friends) have signed up to trek a 24 mile route which includes climbing the mountains of Pen-y-ghent (691m), Whernside (728m) and Ingleborough (723m).

The whole challenge can be completed within a 12 hour period this also qualifies for an official badge... however completing the route will be our biggest challenge.  We're part of a well established group and we've taken part in a few successful walks already so with a bit more training, we should be well prepared.
