The Ride

At the end of March, Hugh Maltby and I will be riding coast to coast across Wales and England. 300 miles in 3 days, self supported. We'll start in Aberystwyth, on the west coast of Wales. We'll spend one night 'on the road' near the Wales-England border. Night 2 we'll be home in Bedford. On day 3 we'll complete our journey to the UK's easternmost point at Lowestoft. There will be a LOT of climbing, especially in Wales. And who knows what the weather will throw at us in late March. Please support us by donating to the British Red Cross Ukraine Appeal. You can do this whether you are a UK resident or not. The money raised will go directly to supporting Ukrainian people who are fleeing the Russian invasion living in refugee camps.

The British Red Cross Ukraine Appeal

Red Cross teams in countries bordering Ukraine including Poland, Moldova, Slovakia and Romania are supporting people on arrival in each country. 

Red Cross teams are distributing food, water, shelter, bedding and providing medical and psychosocial support for people arriving from Ukraine.
