Story
Hello everybody - thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you may already know, my nanny Diane passed away on January 16th after a short battle with Mesothelioma. She had contracted this asbestos-related cancer somehow. This cancer is very rare, yet extremely aggressive and unfortunately there is no cure. As the cancer is so rare, doctors lack experience when dealing with this cancer. As a family, this has greatly affected us all as my nanny was a bright light in all of our lives , and she was the most selfless person I have ever met. She was happy to do anything for anybody and not expect anything in return. This made her very special to us all. We are a big family and my nanny had 5 children who she leaves behind.
I want to remember my nanny in the best way that I can, and therefore I would like to raise money for Mesothelioma to try and raise more awareness about this cancer, and hopefully in the future a cure can be developed and doctors can learn more about this awful disease.
Please help in any way that you can. Any donation would be greatly received.
Thanks in advance, Darcie.
