Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

To push myself through another challenge, this year I have decided to run this Marathon.  So far the training has been the hardest thing I have ever put my body through physically, believe it or not, I'm not built like a long distance runner.

Heaven gained an angel when my good friend (and big sister at work) devastatingly lost her niece.  Lily sadly passed away on 22nd November 2012.  Lily was just 21 months old and had been fighting an ongoing battle against cancer since February of that year.

I am going to run the marathon in Lily's memory for Ward 84, the Oncology Ward at Manchester Children's Hospital where Lily was cared for so well.

Please sponsor me.  Every penny helps.  The money raised will go towards brightening up Ward 84 to try to make a child cancer patients stay in hospital that little more bearable.

Thank you.
