In 2016 I'm taking on a range of cycling events to hopefully raise money to enable the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Trust to continue with their fantastic & groundbreaking research into heart & lung care. I have several friends who simply would not be here without the superb staff and cutting edge technology these wonderful hospitals possess.

My rides include the Wokingham Bikeathon, a London to Windsor event and a 10 day tour of the South of England by bike which will take in nearly 800 miles of cycling and will include visits to both hospitals, finishing at Royal Brompton. Bit of training to get on with as the Wokingham Bikeathon is in June and my tour will start 10th July. I'll be blogging about the tour on my website www.leisurecycling.co.uk so you'll be able to follow every pedal turn and each painful moment!

I'll be financing all food and accommodation on the July trip as well as entry fees for the other events so all donations will go directly to the charity.
