On the 18th October 2009 my brother Michael Dixon disappeared whilst on vacation in Costa Rica. The Costa rican authorities and British police did little to investigate and have now given up on the case. 

I am participating in this run to help raise awareness and funding for the Lucy Blackman Trust/Missing Abroad charity. Not enough is being done by the government to support families whose loved one goes missing abroad.
