David was a great guy, in fact I'd call him infectious. You would never be glum for long when David was in the room, he had the ability to always make people smile and he'd have you laughing with him in no time. He was generous, caring, thoughtful, kind and definitely passionate. 

Me and David grew up together living in the same street and went to the same primary school. He was a great friend to my brothers and was always highly thought of with all my family and friends. We shared four years of our life together in a relationship and even though this didn't work out we had made a pact that we would forever remain friends and that we did. 

David's diagnosis came as a shock and the loss of his life was a tragedy. He was 29 years old when he was diagnosed and his battle was only short. Not a day goes by when there isn't something that reminds me of David. He is sorely missed by so many people but he is definitely always remembered and always will be.  

In raising money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research I am hoping to raise awareness of blood cancers and help towards the fight of beating this disease. This charity was founded in 1960 and with research, trials and development of safer and effective treatments more people get the diagnosis and treatment that they require and have a chance of beating blood cancers.
