We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

I will be running the London Marathon on 24th April 2016; I am running in the memory of my sister, Rebecca Ferdinand, who lost her battle with breast cancer on 1st May 2015.

Rebecca was a loving mother to three children, a devoted wife, a precious daughter and a much loved and missed sister.

Whilst in the Royal Marsden Hospital, Rebecca and I would sit and talk about many things, including the end of her life. She  spoke about raising money for Wiltshaw Ward, which is where she spent the last seven weeks of her life, being cared for by some of the most compassionate and dedicated people you could wish to meet.

She was also keen to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity,in order to support research into new therapies and to assist with providing support to those affected by cancer; this is something she felt strongly about and was one of her final wishes.

Rebecca’s spirit is strongly around my family and I know that it is my responsibility to ensure that her final wishes are honoured; although I will be doing the running, Rebecca’s spirit will be making the journey with me, guiding me and driving me forward.

My family and I are truly grateful for any donation that you can give in her memory, in order to help in the fight against Cancer
