On 11th September 2013 I was riding my motorbike with my father, Mike, when he committed to an overtake and collided with an oncoming van. He was killed instantly. 

As a keen biker I am thankful for the work of the NW Air Ambulance and the assistance they give to injured riders. 

I have created a film on You Tube called 'Mikes last ride'. This is to raise awareness in the biking community regarding the dangers of riding when you are tired and the risks bikers face when they make decisions at the end of the day.
