Story

Last year I was lucky enough to be invited to review a play called Beetles From The West that was produced by Falling Pennies Theatre Company (http://wp.me/p5iPbU-2gp). It was a great vehicle for raising awareness about prostate cancer, and they even took it outside of London for a brief stint in Plymouth - here they gathered funds for the Chestnut Appeal.

Recently a family member started undergoing treatment for prostate cancer, so with this & Falling Pennies in mind I thought another Dry January was in order! And who better to raise money for than the Chestnut Appeal?

Falling Pennies raised £200.70 from bucket collections, so let's see if the internet can do the same!

Press nights will bring the temptation of alcohol my way quite regularly this month, but I'm determined to manage the challenge again.
