Story

In August this year, aged 32, Ben Abrahams was tragically killed in a car crash leaving behind Kate and his two young boys, Freddie and Arthur.

Across family, friends and work colleagues, Ben was loved & liked for his kindness, friendly nature and generosity. This tragic event has saddened many people and he will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him.

Recognising Ben's love of his family and spirit of adventure, in tribute, a number of us are aiming to emulate Ben's achievement last year of running (or walking for some..) 5k on every day in December to raise money for The Archie Foundation.  Though the starting list of participants are some of us who first met Ben & Kate as prospective parents through NCT classes, we welcome anyone else who wants to take up the challenge.

The aim of The Archie Foundation is to 'Make the Difference' for children in Northern Scotland when they are sick. They don't provide anything the NHS should, but provide more advanced or extra facilities, equipment, people and training whilst providing extensive support to families of sick children.

We thank you for visiting our page and especially for any donations.
