Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Cancer is something that has undoubtedly effected every single one of us in some way.

In late 2016 my Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. St. Richard's Hospice provided support I thought impossible outside of family. The Hospice not only took loving care of my Dad in his final days, but they also conducted one of the most beautiful and special events of our lives with the Blessing of my parents before his passing. Since my Dad has passed, the support has not stopped.

Because of this support, me and my great friend Liam - who's grandmother worked for the Hospice - are trying to raise as much money as possible to give something back, no matter how little that something is.

On the 11th August 2018 we are walking from Worcester to Birmingham via the canal. This will be over 25 miles, take just shy of nine hours, and will be done in one single day. To reiterate, that's nine hours of walking. We will be conducting small live streams throughout the walk also so that you can enjoy the scenery and the struggle!

Please consider donating, no matter how little the amount. St Richard's Hospice have provided an unprecedented amount of support and comfort to countless people suffering with and from cancer. Let's try to give something back.

Much love,

Rhys and Liam.
