I am raising money for the Alzheimer's Society in memory of my nan who suffered from this awful disease for several years before recently passing away.

The disease does not only affect the person living with Dementia but also their family and friends.  The Alzheimer's Society are working hard researching to help to improve the quality of life for people with dementia and their carers, by tackling questions related to the causes of dementia, investigating good practice in care and treatment, and pursuing a cure.
