My beloved mum died as a result of her crippling rheumatoid arthritis. One of her life long ambitions was to visit the Great Wall of China, sadly she never made it. I am going to do this 10 day trek for the Arthritis Research Society to try and help others, who suffer like my mum did. Mum sadly was diagnosed with arthritis in her mid thirties and suffered in pain for many years, she was so brave and courageous right until the end. It will be a challenge for me, nothing like what mum endured, but with your support it will make a huge difference to others who are suffering now and those of you who may suffer in the future.
