UPDATE - CHALLENGE COMPLETED

An amazing, brutal test both physically and mentally.

This has changed my life, I am stronger on every level and feel I can achieve anything. I feel totally present, confident and assured of my life and future.

I urge everyone to set themselves a personal challenge, one that will be hard and will test your strength, the result and achievement and the mental strength this gives you is priceless.

Our mental strength is far greater than we realise, but we all need help and this is where Derbyshire Mind come in, we need to support their amazing services.

2023 brings me halfway to being a centurion, a time to challenge myself both physically and mentally. So, I am taking on the challenge of completing the national three peaks, in 24 hours, next October.

Being immersed in the challenge and environment of the 3 peaks gives me what I need mentally. However, not everyone has an outlet to be able to deal with mental issues. 

Derbyshire Mind provide a range of advocacy and community mental wellbeing services designed to support local people with mental health problems.
