The Ally Cadence Trust provides support to families affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. Children with SMA Type 1 have limited movement and may have breathing difficulties. We offer many items of specialist equipment to them that are not readily available on the NHS

Story

Eilys was diagnosed with SMA type 1 when  she was 6 months old. Since her diagnosis she has been doing lots of lovely experiences with her family. Now Eilys is 1 and to celebrate we have added "raise money for charity" to her list and we thought the color run looked like fun! Dylan and Eilys will be doing the color run with Mummy and Daddy. It's a 5K run and we are going to try our best to win :)

What happens at The Color Run?

Thousands of Color Runners start the day in a white t-shirt, getting covered from head to toe in a rainbow of colours at each kilometre of the course. Oh and did we mention you don't even have to run? You can choose to walk, skip or dance your way around if you feel like it. It’s all about the fun and what gives you the biggest smiles!
