CPR & AED Awareness Ride 2022 - EAAA

The EAAA was founded in 2001 and aims to bring the hospital to the patient. The EAAA runs two bases: Anglia One operates from Norwich Airport and Anglia Two operates from Cambridge Airport. The EAAA also use 2 RRVs when flying is not an option or it would be quicker to use a road vehicle.

Anglia One was dispatched to me to transfer me from my home, the 65 miles to the Royal Papworth Hospital. I have always wanted to fly in a helicopter and perhaps next time I might remember it.

Approximately 25% of all EAAA missions are to assist in cardiac arrest cases.
