Our precious son Ekam blessed our lives with ten wonderful weeks of pure joy. Though he peacefully passed away from an incurable metabolic condition, he showed remarkable strength, courage, and love throughout his journey.

During his time at GOSH, Ekam received exceptional care from the incredible team on Squirrel Ward, where we were able to create memories we will treasure forever. 🕊️

As a family, we have come together to raise funds for the Metabolic Department at GOSH — a cause that means so much to us. Your generous donations will directly support children’s care, essential medication, and pioneering research that gives hope to families facing the toughest battles.

Our fundraising efforts are helping to advance vital metabolic research projects at GOSH. We are currently supporting a pioneering initiative focused on developing an innovative treatment for children affected by Type 3 Gaucher disease — a rare genetic disorder that affects the brain.

This research offers the hope of a better future for children born with this condition, improving both their life expectancy and quality of life. If successful, it could lead to a safe and effective therapy capable of halting or even reversing neurological symptoms. And because Gaucher disease is part of a broader group of disorders that cause progressive neurological decline, this work could also pave the way for new treatments for many other life-limiting genetic conditions.

Every day at Great Ormond Street Hospital, 619 children and young people arrive from across the UK for life-changing treatments. Every day, families and hospital staff confront extraordinary medical challenges — and the brightest minds work tirelessly to achieve breakthroughs that transform children’s lives. 🌟

This extraordinary hospital depends on charitable support. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a difference — and becomes part of Ekam’s beautiful legacy.

💥 What an incredible day at the Race for Kids! 🏃‍♀️💙🏃‍♂️

Ekam’s amazing big sister and baby brother took on the challenge with huge smiles, big hearts, and unstoppable energy — all in loving memory of their brother, Ekam. 💖✨

They ran, laughed, and powered through the course with pure determination, showing just how much love and strength they carry. 🌈👧👶

Thanks to everyone’s incredible generosity, they helped raise an amazing amount of donations for Great Ormond Street Hospital, supporting both the Children’s Cancer Centre and the Gaucher Disease Project — two causes making a real difference to children and families every single day. ❤️🏥

Sep 25 - Tough Mudder

💥 What a day at the Tough Mudder – Holmbush Estate! 💦💪

Led by Gurbhej and Karan (Ekam’s uncles), with Jaujar (Ekam’s dad) joining the team, they tackled mud, obstacles, and miles of pure grit and determination — all with huge smiles and unstoppable spirit! 😄🏃‍♂️🌧️

From crawling through mud pits to conquering walls and electric shocks ⚡, they pushed through every challenge — and it was all for an incredible cause. Thanks to everyone’s generous support, they raised an amazing amount of donations for Great Ormond Street Hospital, helping children and families who truly need it most. ❤️🏥

May 24 - Walkie Talkie Challenge

🎉 Huge congratulations to Jaujar (Ekam’s dad), and Ajit & Gurbhej (Ekam’s uncles) for absolutely smashing the Walkie Talkie Challenge! 🚶‍♂️📞

It was no easy feat — a real challenge from start to finish — but they powered through with determination, smiles, and plenty of laughs along the way! 😄💪

Best of all, they raised an incredible amount of money for Great Ormond Street Hospital, supporting an amazing cause that helps so many children and families. 💖🏥

May 23 - Kings Coronation Carnival

👑🎉 What a fantastic day at the King’s Coronation Carnival hosted by the truly amazing Hall Grove School! 🇬🇧✨

The event was filled with fun, laughter, and celebration, as the children and families of Hall Grove came together to mark this special royal occasion in style. From joyful games to cheerful performances, the whole day was bursting with happiness and community spirit! 🎈👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We are beyond grateful for the incredible generosity, kindness, and effort from everyone at Hall Grove School. 💖 Your support and donations have been nothing short of outstanding and will make a real difference to so many lives. 🙌

December 22 - Purple Bee's Day Nursery Bake Sale

Thank you to the Purple Bee's Family for keeping Ekam in their thoughts. The excellent nursery team fundraised at a wonderful bake sale. All the cakes and treats looked delicious!

Thursday 1st Sep 22 - LAW's 3K RUN

10 year old Law trained extremely hard and did very well in successfully completing a 3k run, in memory of Ekam. He raised £1000.00. We are all very proud of him.

Sunday 17th July 22 - SLED CHALLENGE

Ekam's father, Jaujar successfully completed a 100kg weighted sled for 1 kilometre. He did extremely well raising donations for GOSH :-)

Friday 3rd September 21 - EKAM'S BLUE WALK

Ekam's sisters (Age 3 to 12) did a 5K walk in his honour. They did great fundraising!
