Story

As most of you will know, sadly we lost our Mum on 25 March 2017 to a Fatal Brain Disease called CJD.

She had been poorly since December but diagnosed on 24 February in Addenbrooks, where she had been for a week and we just wanted to get back home to spend her last few weeks with her good friends and family around her, comfortably in her own surroundings.

This however, was causing problems, as Mum needed two 24 hour carers and we could not put this in place. So, as a family and with help from her loyal friends, we decided to care for her ourselves and she returned home a few days later.

Within a day or two of being home, the very kind Nurses at Norfolk Hospice Tapping House were able to help with the care and that gave us the time to spend with Mum, for her last few days and cared for as she deserved to be.

We all do miss her so very much, every single day x

Our Mum, as I am sure you will agree, was a very considerate, loyal, kind, gentle, generous, loving, caring and amazingly beautiful lady, and in memory, love, honour and respect for her, our family friends Catherine Bunting & Lee Mallot, Jamie, Lee and myself are running the Amsterdam Marathon on 15 October 2017 to raise money for Norfolk Hospice Tapping House to say a big thank you to them.

If you would like to donate to this amazing Charity this is our just giving page.

Thank you x
