Last year (May 2021), my dear friend Beccy passed away from Bowel Cancer at the age of just 21. Beccy and I met at secondary school and shared some wonderful memories together. She was caring, funny, intelligent and had such a kind soul. There's not a day goes by when I don't think of her. On the 29th August, I will be running 10K in her memory and will be raising money for Bowel Research UK. The event is being held at Hinchingbrooke Country Park. I have recently completed 5K and I am now training for the 10 - I'm apprehensive but excited for the challenge. I know Beccy will be cheering me on in spirit.
