Its that time of year again and I have signed up for the Manchester 10k and will be running with two great friends, Kate and Tessa. I am very grateful to them for keeping me running over the last year when I could so easily have hung up my trainers for ever. I have decided to give my run some purpose and will be raising money for Diabetes UK, a charity very close to my heart. Taking part in the run and seeing so many people running for such a wide variety of causes is always a very humbling process. It is a time when I realise how lucky I am to still to able to put one foot in front of another and it is always a time when I remember my lovely Mum more than ever , I know that I wont be the first this year to ask you to give and I know I won't be the last!
