In memory of Aoife O'Connor
We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Aoife was a very special girl.  When I first meet Aoife she was one of the new players in the little league at Lode heath school on a Saturday morning.  Immediately she came over to me to ask if I need any help with getting the bibs or balls sorted. Her kindness showing already. If she joined in, whether it was netball or other sports, she gave everything she could to be good at what she was playing. She loved everything she did. Her character was one of fairness and enthusiasm.

When Aoife was diagnosed she didn’t let it phase her; she was an inspiration to all of us.  On completing her treatment, she came along to the training sessions and coached the younger players in Elmdon Netball Club, she loved doing this and so did the girls she was teaching. She put back into netball and these young girls everything she had gained herself. Its time now for us to do something for Aoife and raise funds and encourage sport in everyone by holding our tennis tournament and raising funds and awareness for The Brain Tumour Charity..
