In October 2014 I lost one of my good friends to Cystic Fibrosis. Sam was only 21 but lived his life how we all should. With Sams enthusiasm and big grin in my head, I've set myself the biggest challenge of my life so far- To run the Beachy Head Marathon on October 24th. This will be my first ever full marathon and it includes almost 5000ft of climb (equivalent to a trek up Ben Nevis). I trained well until a slight injury but all taped up I will still be giving the marathon my all, and with no target time in mind, I'll just put one foot in front of the other until I reach the finish line whilst hopefully enjoying the views! This charity means a lot to me and many of my other friends, and we know Sam would want us to help others fighting the same battle he did, so please if you can donate any amount, it will get me to the finish faster. We will never forget Sam, but we can help those who are still with us battling this condition by raising more!
