We are organising a black tie event on the 25 June 2022 to raise money for the new parent room that is going to be built at Northampton Hospital to support families when needing to be near their poorly/premature babies.

Our daughter Elsie Olivia Whitham was born 3 months early on the 07th of July 2022 at Northampton General Hospital at 10:51am weighing only 1lb 12. We want to support Northamptonshire Health Charity as without the amazing consultants, doctors, nurses, specialist equipment and everyone else that makes Gossett Ward function, Elsie might not be here today. 

During Elsies 11weeks in hospital our family were unable to visit Elsie due to covid restrictions, however the nurses not only looked after Elsie they became our support when times were really difficult and reassured us during some really hard days. Any Donations will make such a difference for families that are not local to Northampton hospital. Leaving your vulnerable baby is so difficult and adds additional heartache and financial pressure on those families that have to travel in each day. With your support the aim is to help build a new parent room for parents to be close by their premature/ poorly babies. Some parents are having to book local hotels last minute paying premium prices or driving in each day having to pay high fuel prices. Having a room in the hospital would take financial pressure off these parents and give them more quality time with their babies which is so important.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our parents, family and close friends during what was a really difficult time after Elsies birth.
