I'm running first Ultra distance race across 10 of the lake districts highest peaks and I have just 24 hours to complete it in. I will travel over 73km, I will cross mountains, streams and bogs, run in the dark and hopefully be back within the time frame. The route covers 5600m of ascent and I will be 1 of 100 competitors climbing Helvellyn (951m) Scafell (965m) and Skiddaw (931) just to name a few of the peaks.

This is a huge challenge and has a reputation for being tough on the competitors. I would love it if you could support me by sponsoring my efforts in aid of the Bendrigg Trust. This is a great charity that run a residential outdoor education center for disabled and disadvantaged young people based just outside Kendal.

It’s a fantastic charity who are dedicated to every individual who comes to Bendrigg. They are a very inspirational charity and I feel privileged to be helping raise funds for such a worthy cause.
