Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
5 years ago I donated my hair to a charity called the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment. I had 12 inches of hair cut off and raised £265 for Cancer Research. The reason I did this was in memory of my Nan who had died of Bowel Cancer 10 years before.
This year on November 27th it'll be 15 years since she died and so I'm ready to make another donation...around 13/14 inches!! This time I will be donating my hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths (http://www.pantene.com/en-US/PanteneBeautifulLengths/Pages/default.aspx) These guys make real hair wigs for women with Cancer. They're based in America, but they receive donations from all over the world. Hoping that they'll start this in the U.K at some point.
It doesn't matter to me what country my hair goes to, all that matters to me is that I make a beautiful woman smile again.
This time I'm raising money for Macmillan, I've chosen this charity because the Nurses do amazing work and as a charity they offer so much support! All you need to do is look at their website to see how much work they actually do. Amazing charity that I would love to help.
I hope I can meet my target!
Lots of Love, Emma x
