Esther volunteered for many years for Dementia Concern (formerly known as Alzheimers Concern Ealing) following the support that they gave during her husband Sid's experience of dementia.

For every £30 donated the charity are able to:
•Provide two hours of Care Attendant time to look after a person with dementia and to give a carer a break from caring.
•Provide thee hours of care for a person with dementia at one of our weekend day centres.
•Run a self-help support group for 10 carers of people with dementia.
