This will be my first Christmas without my wonderful Dad and things will never be the same again.  Marie Curie nurses helped care for him in the last week of his life and provided invaluable support to our family. I want to give something back to this very worthwhile charity so that they can continue their good work helping other people with terminal cancer.

This Christmas I am politely requesting that anyone who was planning to send me a card or buy me a present kindly gives the money to charity instead.  I would be very grateful for any donation, even if it's just £1 that you would have spent on a card and a stamp - and donations can be made anonymously with the amount hidden
