Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year I lost both my Mum and Dad within 6 months of each other, After the sudden death of my mother on Christmas 2021, I found out that she had been hiding my fathers battle with Dementia away from me.
After looking after my father near day in, day out during this time, I've seen how horrible dementia is as a disease, and no one should have to face this horrible affliction alone.
My dad and me bonded over football, he was an avid Arsenal supporter where and and at the time I supported Man United, but in 2006, my dad took me to my first football match, local team Cheltenham Town vs Grimsby Town in the League Two play off finals at the Millenium stadium, since then I've supported Cheltenham ever since.
Me and dad would go to a few games over the years, and it was always something we could enjoy together, and as such I have sponsored a game with Cheltenham against Port Vale in memory of my dad to remind me of the good times and hopefully with some help from the fans get some help for Dementia UK to help those who are suffering with this horrible, deabilitating affliction.
