I have started this page as a continued tribute to my beautiful son, Noah Martin Thomas, who was born 31st March 2012 at 7.29am weighing 6lbs 6.5oz. Sadly our little boy was in such a deep sleep he never woke up.

After 40 weeks and 4 days of preparing for our bundle of joy we then had to face going home without our precious boy.

We are extremely proud of Noah and love him dearly. He will always be part of Team Thomas.

I'm running the Reading Half Marathon to continue to raise as much as we can for the RDHC - Stillbirth fund. This is a cause that has already directly helped us, but also many other parents. The money raised helps with the upkeep of dedicated rooms that can be used by bereaved parents in the hospital, this so that they are able to be as comfortable as possible in their hours of need. The money is also used to help train the bereavement midwives that are so vital in our journey.

We were able to stay together over night in a private room in the hospital when Noah arrived, this made a huge difference. We were also able to spend time with Noah in these special rooms each time we went back to visit him before we had to say a final good bye.

The bereavement midwives at The Royal Berks have taken good care of us and are continuing to do so. We know that your money is going to a very worthy cause and while we wish this would never happen to anyone else the reality is that it will and that by raising money we can make sure other bereaved parents and sleeping babies are well looked after.
