I am running the London Marathon in memory of Jim White, a truly inspirational man who loved to run and encourage others to join him. The Devon Air ambulance gave him the best chance possible to survive when he collapsed running, with the best care and rapid transfer to hospital.  Sadly Jim died later that day in hospital. 

Devon Air Ambulance have two helicopters which allow them to reach emergency scenes - often inaccessible by road - within minutes and provide urgent medical assistance and rapid transfer to the appropriate hospital.  Fundraising is critical in ensuring that they can continue to supply, equip and operate the helicopters.
