Story

The beards on the set of ‘The Green Knight’ are of epic proportions, with beards akin to those of Norse Gods you could easily be fooled into thinking we were walking around Valhalla.

On Friday, 3rd May at Ardmore Studios (time TBC), the beauties you see in the cover photo are all parting with their facial fuzz to raise money for Pieta House (and those who are not gifted with a collection of hair on their face might even shave their tresses! ).

Please donate whatever you can to support the guys, and to support this very worthy charity (some info on Pieta House below).

No amount is too big or too small, and every donation is much appreciated.

Now off with your.....BEARD!

About Pieta House

In 2006, Pieta House opened its doors in Lucan, County Dublin and since that day they have seen and helped over 40,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm, and established twelve subsequent centres across Ireland.

From humble beginnings, Pieta House has grown to almost 270 therapists and administration staff, and the demand for their service hasn’t let up. In 2017 alone, over 7,000 people came through their doors suffering from suicidal ideation and/or engaging in self-harm, or to avail of suicide bereavement counselling.

Pieta House also operates the Suicide Bereavement Counselling centres that had previously been operated by Console. They provide free counselling, therapy and support to individuals, couples, families and children who have been bereaved by suicide. They also offer a Suicide Bereavement Liaison Service and the Freecall 24/7 suicide helpline
