Our Story Gareth & Amber Chamberlain

 

On October 13th 2012 my wife and my world got turned upside down forever the saddest day for our family.

We have three fantastic boys who we would not change for the world, but my wife has always longed for a girl as any mother would. To find out that we were going to have a baby girl was amazing and would have made our family complete.

After the first  scan all was excellent and going well and we were looking forward to planning for our baby girl, only for that week to be a week we would never forget and we will never forget.

For our baby girl to be diagnosed with Edwards Syndrome was the worst news any expectant parent could receive.

Our dream had been shattered, and that whirlwind week went so slow and painful no words can describe.

The decisions that you have to make will stick with us for the rest of our lives on that week.

From the birth to the funeral was the hardest thing any parent should have to endure.

Our Baby girl will never ever be forgotten.

Although Lola wasnt with us for long she was loved more than anything by her mummy and daddy and her two loving brothers.

We miss her now and will always miss her
