Story

This isn’t a sad story it’s a love story. One between a selfless mother that gave her whole life to her children and her children that loved her so much that the loss of her is real, it’s deep and it’s a pain that will never subside.

She was born to be the greatest mother, nana and great nana. She committed to each and every single one of us everything she had and we feel the full force of her love in everything we do.

We could write a million words about her, including her work with special needs, her achievements throughout her life and the sacrifices she made every day for us. But it would never be enough.

So instead we are raising money for a hospice that gave her beautiful care, that through a pandemic still gave us the chance to be by her side and to the doctor and nurses that helped her gain her wings.

To remember her and the love of her life, Richard, the man that showed her what true love was, who showed her how beautiful she truly was and who embraced life with her.

Gemma and Dean will be running the London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October 2021 and we know these two angels will be up there watching us the whole time. One drinking red wine, the other drinking tea and both eating Bourbon biscuits.

So please join us and support us in our journey. It doesn’t have to be money donations as we understand during these uncertain times that everyone’s circumstances are different. Any support is welcome, likes on our posts, follows on our Instagram page and messages (even a bit of critical banter directed mainly at Dean lol).

We are grateful for any support and look forward to sharing this journey with everyone.
