Those of you that know me will also know something of my story.  How my wonderful husband, Dave, lost his life to a brain tumour in March 2012 and how I am now doing all I can to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity in the hope they can find a cure for this most dreadful of diseases.  Not only did it deprive Dave of many years of life, laughter and achievement but it is the biggest cancer killer of children and young adults.  I don't want any more people to have to go through what Dave went through.

We both loved walking and if you check out the photos on this page you'll see a few of the great places we enjoyed going to. I'm expecting this trek to be the hardest physical challenge of my life but I'm confident I can do it.  If Dave could be as brave and cheerful as he was in the face of death I'm absolutely sure I can manage a few days walking in the Moroccan mountains in his memory.
