Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well, I made it! 14 miles in 5 hours in glorious sunshine and with wonderful company and no blisters or sore legs! Thank you to all who have visited my page and pledged some money; every penny counts and is really appreciated. Thank you. In 2005, my darling daughter, Katherine, was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, synovial sarcoma. Unfortunately, in May last year, she lost her battle to that dreadful disease. For 5 years The Royal Marsden Hospital did an amazing job at keeping her alive. The knowledge and expertise of the doctors and nurses we saw each week was world class and I cannot say thank you enough for the amazing care she received over the years from so many special people. Without their wonderful help and support her father, James and I, and all her family and friends would not have had those extra years to enjoy and cherish. This is my chance, to say thank you again and give something back to those wonderful people at The Royal Marsden Hospital.

Thank you all so much for supporting a charity that means so much to me, James and friends and family of Kate xx.
