Ride4Life 2019 sees a team of 50 riders challenge themselves to cycle 330 miles, across 4 countries in 4 days, to raise money for Valley Hospital Charity.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our mate Kevin was a Dartford lad and was well-cared for in Darent Valley's Chestnut ward for many, many weeks as well as Bart's & Papworth.

Generating funds for the local special  baby care unit, early breast cancer detection equipment  and something for Chestnut ward will help leave a legacy for Kev, who is sadly no longer with us.

He did confirm that the idea of riding a bike to raise funds for great causes was a good idea and sniggered about the riders getting sore bums !

Kev & wife of 22 yrs Rosie helped make Kev''s own significant donation - his organs to Royal Free London (hospital) to help in their research of the rare genetic disease "Anderson - Fabry " which affects heart and kidneys.

Riding a pedal cycle 334 miles in 4 days this June does not leave much time for training !

The event :

Day 1 Darent Valley (Dartford) to Calais 70m

Day 2 Calais to Bruges 83m

Day 3 Bruges - Breda 91m

Day 4 Breda - Amsterdam 90m
