I thought it be a great idea to raise some donations for the Lewy Body Society. I had never heard of this until  my telephone call with dad to say this is what he was diagnosed with. I still remember that call and even then I was surprised over the months that lead at how quickly the effects of this caused on him. 

Providing funds towards a good cause will help spread the word of Lewy Body and continue with research.  "The more that  know, the fewer who suffer" This isn't a big organisation it needs all the help you can give.

So........I thought what could I do? I cant run half a marathon - I'd end up looking like a sunburned beached whale, I hate heights so that counts out skydiving and I hate flying so that counts out traveling to anywhere abroad. That left me with walking. Living so close to Hadrians wall and married to a public rights of way officer I thought what the heck - 84 Miles along a national trail isn't too hard!

No way could I do this by myself though! My trusty side kicks are my Mum (Yvonne), big and medium sized Chris, the professional walker John and on a part time basis - Bella the dog.  A very brave lot! 

Please, please show your support I know there are a few anxiety issues among us and i'm sure a few blisters on the way and a lack of real ale wont matter.  Its for an amazing cause and a pound out of your pocket will go a long way to help someone. The walk will be taking place the wk beginning 27th April and lasting 6 days. Join us if you want!
