Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. As some of you may know, this is the 8th Mentzendorff Charity Cycle Ride to raise funds for the Benevolent - The Drinks Industry Charity. This will be the second time Peter and I have ridden it together!

On Monday 9th June, ten of us will be riding 600kms from Bodegas Roda in Rioja, to Taylor's Port Quinta de Vargellas in the Douro. We are crossing the plains of Northern Spain, with every likelihood of strong headwinds, but stunning scenery to focus our minds on!

The Benevolent is a fabulous charity, supporting hundreds of people who used to work in the drinks industry, more often than not running public houses, and since retirement they are experiencing financial, physical or emotional hardship. Our Charity makes a real difference to their lives.
