Story
Help us celebrate Hef's first birthday, and in turn, raise money for Celia Hammond Animal Trust!
One year ago, on a warm evening May 1st,, Hef and his four brothers and sisters were born wriggling and squeaking in the bottom of a wardrobe in Hackney. Two months prior to this, his mother (now christened 'Mum') had decided that I would make the perfect midwife to her and her litter. The other four kittens were re-homed in pairs, whilst Mum and Hef came to live with me.
Celia Hammond Animal Trust (CHAT) is proud of its non-destruction policy.
Once an animal comes into their care, it will be safe for life.
The next few coming months are known as 'kitten season', as the warming weather becomes a catalyst for cats coming into heat. Female kittens can sexually mature at as young as four months old, and can even become pregnant again whilst they are still nursing their first litter!
Please help me, Hef and Mum raise money for Celia Hammond Animal Trust ahead of what is their busiest time of year.
