Thanks for taking the time to visit Harri's JustGiving page for the Connaught Club and Kings College hospital.

14 year old Harri went to bed as usual on Thurs 8th Jan and woke up with a headache the next morning, which was actually a  massive brain haemorrhage. Despite surviving  a long operation, he never woke up from a coma. We discovered that he had been born with an AVM ( brain vessel malformation) which had bled. The hospital stabilised him over the next 2 weeks but the results of the following scans showed massive damage to his brain stem and we were advised to switch off his life support on Tuesday 27th January. 

I'd like to thank everyone who has sent texts, phoned and visited  during Harri's time in King's College Hospital. Your kind words and prayers have been a huge comfort to me and my family and we thank you whole heartedly. 

I've set up this page in memory of Harri as so many of you have asked that a legacy be set up in his name. Instead of sending flowers please donate to one of our chosen causes stated below. 

The Thomas Cook Critical Children's Centre at King's College Hospital who did all they could to try and save Harri. A special thank you to all the nurses who worked tirelessly through their 12 hour shifts to make Harri as comfortable as possible.

Harri's Legacy Fund at The Connaught Club. A fund has been established at the Connaught Club. Harri loved all sports but his true passion as most of you know was tennis and he spent most of his time playing tennis, coaching juniors and hanging out with his friends at Connaught. The fund will be used to set up an annual tournament in his name and to help support junior tennis at the club.
