As many of you probably know, prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in their lifetime; it has affected those I love, with my uncle passing away last year from a particularly aggressive form

In my previous role at a general practice I conducted multi-disciplinary meetings which included a review of all of our patients who sadly had passed away. I was always dismayed to see just how many men were passing away prematurely to this form of cancer.

I am hoping to raise awareness, even if just minor, to encourage people to attend their screenings.  Also primarily I am running in my uncle’s memory 

Any donation is honestly greatly appreciated, the money isn’t just used on treatment, but in supporting patients and families mental health, assisting campaigns for early diagnosis and raising awareness of prostate cancer, symptoms and routine screenings.
