Hi!

I've actually done it and have completed GOSHCC's challenge of a 7-day trek on the Great Wall of China - and I am pleased to say with no blisters!! It was both physically and mentally demanding but it has been one of the most fantastic experiences of my life. The team spirit and support on the Trek was incredible and all 45 members of the group finished the walk still smiling and determined to continuing to raise money for this fantastic cause.

 

The money raised from our trip will go towards funding a state-of-the-art Imaging Centre which will house three new MRI scanners for children in much need of specialist treatment for life-threatening illnesses. As part of the challenge I had committed to raise at least £2,650, some of which went towards my flights, food and accommodation but the rest is donated directly to the Hospital.

AND - even better news: as long everyone pays up I have now exceeded my target, which is just fantastic!!! Thank you so much to everyone that has donated, or pledged so far but I would still love to raise much more money. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
