Story

Hi Everyone,

I am running the 2012 London Marathon in memory of my late husband,

WO2 (SSM) Charlie Henry Wood who was killed in Afghanistan on the 28 Dec 2010 whilst serving with 23 Pioneer Regiment.

Again those who know me well will know this is quite some challenge I have set myself and Reggie my training buddy is doing a fine job in keeping me motivated and training me hard!

After careful consideration I have chosen to raise money for the Army Benevolent Fund (The Soldiers Charity) which was a charity close to Charlie's heart whom he too had raised thousands of pounds for over the years, so I know he would be

extremely proud to see me representing them in his honour.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

All donations are much appreciated and thankyou for your support!
