Story
On the 23rd July the 4 of us (team Hobgoblins) will be entering the Oxfam Trailwalker 2016. This is a 100km off road walk along the South Downs Way, from the Queen Elizabeth Park near Petersfield in Hampshire to Brighton. The route is undulating, ascending approximately 2500m over the 100km, which is nearly three times the height of Snowdon. The challenge is to complete it in under 30 hours, without sleep.
We've been training hard since the start of the year clocking up the miles, recently knocking off 31 miles whilst walking through the night.
We have a support team of Jacky, Louise, Hayley and Edward keeping us fed and watered at Checkpoints along the way.
We have all paid to enter so any money raised goes to Oxfam and the worthwhile causes they support. We would be very grateful if you could support us in any way, and hope to raise as much as possible.
Thanks from the 4 of us.
