We focus on early diagnosis and awareness to improve survival of pancreatic cancer

Story

In January 2018 our Dad and Grandpa passed away only 13 days after being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.
He had virtually no symptoms apart from feeling a bit off colour for a couple of weeks beforehand.
When he was given his diagnosis, he was devastated, mainly because he was worried about leaving everyone behind, especially our Mum & Grandma. He worried over little things like if the car had petrol in and if our Mum/Grandma would have enough money. He never worried about how awful it was going to be for him, but then he didn’t know that he would be gone less than 2 weeks later.
For us, the feeling of sadness and utter helplessness was overwhelming. We couldn’t do or say anything to make anything any better.
Sadly this is not unusual for patients who contract Pancreatic Cancer, the outcome is very poor.
And so we decided to support Pancreatic Cancer Action and raise money for them to help fund their research into this terrible disease, so that the future for other people who are diagnosed may be more optimistic.💜

Please sponsor us if you can, any amount is appreciated and hopefully a step closer to finding a cure.

Thank you!!

...All we need to do now is run 13.1 miles - it’s a canny long way!
