It is now nearly one month since we walked in memory of Lily and Louise - and to support MacMillan. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our fund raising and made the day so special. We laid our pink roses on the lake and we shared our thoughts as they floated off. It was such a lovely way to remember our friends. We will be closing our fund raising page on 26th November. Thank you once again.

Our story:

Hope Group came together, organised by MacMillan, to support each other during and after our cancer treatment.  Our get togethers created a spirit of friendship, laughter and stories.   Walking was an activity we loved doing together - and still do.  Sadly, in the last year, Lily Daly and Louise MacLean have lost their battle with cancer and have passed away.  It is so tragic - both so young and such beautiful souls. They are always in our thoughts.  On 26th October the Hope Group will do a special walk to remember Lily and Louise and support MacMillan.  You could also support Lily and Louise's chosen charities Coppafeel and Arthur Rank Hospice.  That would be wonderful too.
